$50,000 for emergency helicopter landing area

Mt Fyans Wind Farm is thrilled to donate $50,000 to establish an all-weather helicopter landing area in Mortlake. You can read more on our News page.

Engagement

Woolnorth Renewables understands the importance of community engagement and is committed to engaging consistently and openly with the community at and around the proposed Mount Fyans Wind Farm.

Engagement to date has included multiple newsletters (which you can find on our news page) and public information sessions.

We have stepped up our engagement in 2020, appointing a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager and a local Community Engagement Officer. We have a dedicated free call 1800 number and project email address, as well as a drop in shopfront which will be open twice per week.

Shopfront

Mt Fyans Wind Farm has opened a Mortlake shopfront, in the former hairdressing salon in Dunlop Street. The shop will be manned by our new local Community Liaison Officer two days per week, with open days and times currently being established. Other members of our team will also be working from the shopfront when possible, in line with government COVID-19 recommendations.

Sponsorship

If the wind farm proceeds to construction a Community Benefit Fund will be established. Do you have a sponsorship suggestion for Mt Fyans Wind Farm? Please email us your suggestion here.
