Where –Studland Bay Wind Farm, 1277 Woolnorth Road, Woolnorth. From Smithton head 36km West toward Woolnorth on Woolnorth Road. The entrance is on the LHS and look for the open day signage. The wind farm access is gravel and restricted to a 60km/hr speed limit.

How to get there – either drive your own vehicle by following the directions above or catch one of our courtesy buses running from Smithton Club Smithton Club (parking at rear). Leaving at 9.30am, returns to Smithton by 12.30pm or Leaving at 11.00am, returns to Smithton by 2.00pm

Things to do – stand underneath one of our turbines, have a look inside the base of a wind turbine, talk to people that work at the site (we will have a range of staff present including, electricians, mechanics, engineers, environment and safety specialists) and ask them all your curly questions. Tours of the wind farm will be running regularly.

We will have a complimentary BBQ with a hamburger and sausage sizzle, some giveaways, balloons for the kids. Water available on site and toilets.
